The Decemberists Berkeley Poster
On May 1, The Decemberists performed to a sold out crowd at Berkeley, California’s Greek Theatre and we were thrilled to create the official poster for the Bay Area’s own Another Planet Entertainment. The design was inspired by the nineteenth century folklore of the band’s lyrics and signature accordion sound.
The poster is a three color screen print on French Speckletone Kraft paper with a limited artist edition of 50 prints. Check out our initial sketch below along with close up photos of the finished print. The Decemberists poster is now available in the DKNG Store. This design will also be made into an art print and sold in the coming months.
